Grapes Corvina 70%, Rondinella 20%, Sangiovese 10%
Production area Classic area of Bardolino, county of Bardolino, Lazise, Garda and Cavaion, on the hilly shores of South East Lake Garda. Altitude from 100 to 250 mt.
Soil Gravelly, of morenic origin.
Growing technique Guyot, pergola
Vinification The grapes dry in wood plateau for 40 days en plen air, to elevate the structure and concentrate aromas. Soft pressing of the grapes in mid November. Long fermentation for 14 days at controlled temperature from 18 to 28° C. Bottling after 1 year. Complete Malolactic fermentation.
Refinement 6 months in steel and 6 months in wood
Organoleptic aspects Colour: intense ruby red, with purple lights. Bouquet: full and persistent, with hints of ripened fruit. Taste: well bodied and harmonious, with an accentuated concentration of the characters.
Alcohol content 13,5% vol.
Serving temperature 18-19°C
Gastronomical combination With barbecued meats, roasts and seasoned cheeses.
Preservation Can be aged for 3 years. |
