Grapes Corvina 70%, Rondinella 20%, Sangiovese 10%
Production area Classic area of Bardolino, county of Bardolino, Lazise, Garda and Cavaion, on the hilly shores of South East Lake Garda. Altitude from 100 to 250 mt.
Soil Gravelly, of morenic origin.
Growing technique Guyot, pergola
Vinification Soft pressing of the grapes. Fermentation for 7 days at controlled temperature 23-25° C. Preservation in inox tanks until bottling. Complete malolactic fermentation.
Refinement 5 months in steel
Organoleptic aspects Colour: red light ruby . Bouquet: wine, delicate and pleasant perfume. Sign of viola and violet. Taste: sapid, dry and vivid. With characteristic bitter almond background.
Alcohol content 12% vol.
Serving temperature 16-18°C
Gastronomical combination Wine for the whole meal, from first courses to meat, both red or white.
Preservation Can be aged for 1-2 years. |
